Are you a parent, expectant parent, grandparent, family member, baby sitter or anyone else who has regular responsibility for babies or young children?
Would you know what to do if the baby or child is:
- choking
- not breathing
- unconscious
- bleeding
- burnt
- running a high temperature
or any of the other common medical emergencies that can befall them?
If the answer is no, then this course is for you!
Anne Cooke, our head trainer and most experienced and qualified member of staff teaches this course in an easy to understand and low key format that will leave you more confident when asked the above questions. Anne is a fully qualified nurse with years of experience of working with young children and babies.
The course is delivered over 2 hours, and will leave you with more confidence that you will know what to do if the worst does happen.
The content of this course includes:
Unconscious baby/child | Choking |
CPR | Burns |
Raised temperatures | Electric shock |
Drowning | Seizures |
Although this course does not carry an official qualification, we can supply a certificate (and a reference if needed) upon request, that is ideal for baby sitters and the like to show potential employers that you have undertaken specific first aid training.
